(While she dragged Joy to every ribbon store in NYC to find the exact color ribbon to match the sheets I was taking to college. She wanted to sew the ribbon onto white bath towels as an accent. When she didn't find the right color ribbon, the solution was to have no ribbon. For Joan, if it wasn't perfect, it was better to have nothing.)
